From my recent experience with Veterans United Home Loans as a veteran home buyer I would rate them as a team of Guardian Angels for veterans when it comes to VA home loans. They don't just treat you as family, they literally treat you like royalty. They are the best. From the start of my VA home loan process with my pre-approval all the way to closing they were working hard to make it happen. Communication was excellent. My loan specialist would respond to my emails immediately as well as phone calls. They had always kept me informed if I had anything to take care of on my "To Do" list and made the entire loan process stress free. I had first got a pre-approval with USAA and it wasn't enough to even buy a broken down shack. I was depressed. By miracle I saw an advertisement for Veterans United while browsing the internet for a home to buy. Once I saw the advertisement I contacted them immediately. In a matter of hours I had a pre-approval for almost twice the pre-approval USAA had given me. With that my wife and I could really do some home searching. In just a few days we found a beautiful cbs block farmhouse on five acres in Lake City, Florida going for $205,000. We immediately did a contract and notified Veterans United. If we needed we still had room to shop quite a bit higher with our VU pre-approval. Now my wife and I have our lifetime dream come true of owning some land and a farmhouse.
