Stevan, Brett, and VU mortgage team were very helpful, professional, and courteous with facilitating the entire home mortgage process from start to finish, including addressing need/priority to submit documents and answering questions. Whether it be via phone call or email, the VU mortgage team was easily accessible and if a person was unavailable for whatever reason, I could leave a voice message or email and get a response from someone in short time. The "My Veterans United" online portal is very well organized to allow easy finding of data/information, i.e., points of contact, phone numbers/extensions, and email addresses as well as preparation and submittal/upload of documents. I highly recommend Veterans United to family and friends for future home mortgaging needs. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Very rushed experience, not my way of handling it and not how I've done it in the past. Be prepared to talk with multiple people about the same thing cause communication within is terrible.

This is my second time working with Veterans United to obtain a home loan. The first experience was 5 years ago when my husband and I applied for a VA loan to purchase a primary residence. The process was seamless and smooth, and our Loan Officer was always available to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Nothing untoward or unexpected occurred during the loan process, which is how a loan application should be!This time, I was applying for a cash-out refinance loan, and my Loan Officer during this process worked with me in a timely manner to ensure a good closing. We experienced a glitch in the middle of this period: a very unethical Appraiser stalled on providing the report when she said she would - and not 1, but 4 times! She set deadlines, then failed to produce; but ultimately our Loan Officer involved VU's Client Advocate Department, who was quick to deal with the appraisal management company to get the Appraisal completed. So, although the process took 2 weeks longer than expected, this was in no way the fault of Veterans United, which acted throughout in a highly ethical, professional, and gracious manner towards me. I would definitely recommend them if you are searching for a reputable home loan company.
