I was mostly satisfied with the process. The staff where very helpful in answering my concerns. I feel like I gave everything they ask for in a timely manner but for some reason we missed our original closing date. Not sure who was at fault but in the end I was satisfied with the service.

Veteran's United is a fantastic way, if you are eligible, to buy your next home. My Loan Specialist helped make the journey very pleasant. There is a lot of documentation needed prior to approval. The outcome is worth the journey. I highly recommend VU. As the widow of a Navy Veteran, I never thought I would be able to buy a home on my own. Veterans United was great to work with. They made the process easy and stress free. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to apply for a new home loan or refinance their existing home.
We acquired a conventional home loan, which seemed to be far more difficult than a Veteran's loan.
Veterans United, and its Loan Officer (Matt) was excellent to work with. Although, I believe the Underwriter is not completely educated in higher finance and assets owned by prospective borrowers. This lack of knowledge made our process much more difficult than it needed to be.
