Asli is the lady you want doing your loan. We kept running into flaky realtors. So she will send you blessings like Lynda (Best realtor ever). I mean anything I needed to know about utilities...just everything I needed help with she would send people such as Annie and Emma... to help us. Thank you for our home. It was so worth it to apply for this loan.

It was difficult to get ahold of people through most of the process. In the beginning the most effective way to connect was via email which took more then 48hrs to get a response. I think some of our documents got mixup as they asked for our taxes multiple times. I think my team was overloaded, everyone was very kind and friendly, and I am being a bit hypocritical here as I’m guilty of doing some of these things too. All in all I would still recommend Veterans United.

Chris, Ronda, and Jason were outstanding and efficient through the entire process. I was a first time home buyer and they explained every detail and answered every question I had to make it stress free from day 1 to closing.

Don't waste you time, it will cost you your money. Process was easy but hard getting answers to my questions. I did my home work on VA loans (and you should as well) and what could be charged and not charged but it didn't matter. I even sent the VA Pam, quoted the chapter and then was told "There is nothing that says “lender must cover”. " That was a answer to to what I sent after going back and forth over some fee's and I sent them this: "The following list provides examples of items that cannot be charged to the veteran as “itemized fees and charges.” Instead, the lender must cover any cost of these items out of its flat fee: top of pg 8-7, VA Pamphlet 26-7, Revised
Chapter 8: Borrower Fees and Charges." I also attached the Pam to the email so it could be verified. Instead, I'm just told I am wrong. Was told things where seller credits when they were supposed to come out off the 1% origination fee. There for it took away my seller closing cost and I end up paying out the a** during closing. They got their $ and then some. Never again, they say how great they are and then you start seeing the closing doc's at the end, whole different story. Going to have to have the VA review the loan myself now because this was shady, Oh and BTW I went through 6 different closing doc's until I finally said that was enough and would have it reviewed by the VA, so this isn't a surprise to VU.

Response from Veterans United

We appreciate your feedback on this matter Richard and invite you to connect directly with a member of our client advocate team to further discuss your experience. Discussing the details around your final closing figures is part of our commitment to deliver outstanding service. Veterans United does not directly control the majority of these costs or allocations, but as things and itemization progresses, ensuring that you are communicated with at each point would certainly best prepare you. It is our goal to be there for you every step of the way to explain and demonstrate all changes. We appreciate your calling attention to this aspect and will always be available if you wish to discuss in greater detail.

Over the years we have purchased 4 homes and refi’d 7 times. We did three refi’s simultaneously with Veterans United and it was by far our best experience yet. We will only work with Veterans United in the future.

My loan officer, Madison Yant, was the most pleasurable experience I've had in buying a home. I've purchased homes before, however, I've never received the type of reassuring support and the personable rapport that Madison provided during each phase of my homebuying process. I will surly recommend and use Veterans United for my future home purchases. Thank you!
