Veteran United do all that they can to make your experience at refinancing your home as painless as possible. my husband was deployed at the time, and they were so understanding. Can't beat the wonderful customer service at all!
I would recommend VU, however I was very disappointed when the closing date was missed due to a hold up with ordering an appraisal. I had discussed the timeline and importance with my personal loan specialist, Mike prior to securing the loan with VU and was told with a very high certainty that there would not be an issue with the closing timeline.
I will also share that although VU wasn't the cheapest/ most incentive to use- the customer service was the best I've dealt with - this is my 4th home purchase.
I would recommend Veterans United to any veteran who needs a caring team of professionals to get you through the process.
The team at Veterans United know what it takes to get you in a home. I would recommend them to anyone because the staff I worked with treated us with respect and were very quick to get the ball rolling. I am now a proud home owner and the first upgrade will be the red white and blue flying in my very own front yard. Thanks so much Veterans United.
I 100% recommend Veterans United, my loan agent Aimee Hall was phenomenal, and I didn't feel stressed at all about the experience. (Everyone says home buying is supposed to be difficult, they made it very very easy and comfortable.) The rates were decent as well. I'm very pleased with my experience.

Biggest issue we had was the va assessor. It will make or break you buying your home.
My refinance was so totally simple! I sat back and VU took the wheel. Then suddenly it was time to close. My wife and I are so pleased with VU! We will (and I have) recommend VU to any Veteran we know!
This is our second loan with Trish. She is great to work with. She know us, knows the process, and delivers exactly what we discussed. I could not be happier.
Section 3: Honestly I felt like we were the easiest home buyers he has ever had. We did our own research, went to open houses, found the home on our own and told him we wanted to buy it. He did the paperwork and that was it. He didn't have to do much for us so I figured a call back or text response to some serious inquiries shouldn't be that hard considering we did all the "leg work" for him. Overall very poor satisfaction in the real estate agent.
To my fellow veteran homebuyers: you will be most surprised at the level of efficiency that Veterans United Home Loans offers. The team will make your home buying a truly positive and extremely happy experience! Good luck!! Melinda
Everything was made very easy for us. Their response time to questions was very quick. Communication was excellent.
They were so helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. Great communications. If my loan rep wasn't immediately available, I always got called back within 15 minutes.

This process went fairly smoothly and we were approved and closing before we knew it. Even with the few hiccups, from start to finish it only took 40 or so days! The team was fantastic and we will definitely be using them if we buy in the future!!!
We have experienced the home loan qualification experience on several occasions, We bought our first home in 1971 and our last in 2016. The documentation requirements have grown from a few pages to a stack of pages an inch thick. Every new home buyer will find the process complicated and demanding. It is a necessity to have professional help when obtaining a loan. I strongly recommend to any veteran entering this process that Veterans United be used to obtain their loan.
