Don't mess around with local banks that do not understand the unique benefits for which veterans and their families are eligible. Not everyone is a veteran at Veteran's United, but everyone I spoke to understood veterans. I wasted a lot of time with local banks. Veterans United helped me get done what I knew we could get done. The Veterans United website simplifies the home buying process. It made the process much quicker by providing the ability to sign documents electronically as soon as it was needed.
