Veterans United should be the first mortgage company considered when financing or refinancing a home or condo. They are top notch, and efficient. They are unfront with closing costs and will work with you in anyway they can.

Very helpful

Awesome

I have attention problems and I'm not the most motivated when it comes to paperwork. Veterans United made the process to obtain and submit documents as easy as possible for me. They also kept me on track and accommodated my busy schedule.

Zach Roberts helped us with our Original Loan and did and awesome job!! When we decided to refinance our loan, I only felt confident reaching out to him to do our refinance as his service was second to none!!!

This is my 2nd time going through VU and the process is always simple, stress free and secure and you cannot ask for anything better. I even took my loan estimate and had it examined by a 3rd party to ensure the closing costs and rate were the best I could get and they confirmed it was excellent. Both times we closed in record time and my loan team was phenomenal. Matt, as well as his team member Kayla, are nothing short of AWESOME! They are always quick to reply with any questions or concerns I had and I will always reach out to them first for my home buying and refinancing needs.

United Veterans was amazing,!

I had extensive problems with the requirements needs to prove that I had income from the VA. I started my home buying process when I was still active duty and was about to be medically retired. I got my proposed awards letter and was told that was enough as long as we had a DD214 along with it. Then it changed to we need the official awards letter plus a DD214. Then it changed to we need the awards letter, DD214, and a COE. I knew the COE was needed to show that I was exempt from the funding fee but the underwrites threw a big fit about it not saying my monthly compensation. Which we tried explaining that it wasn’t going to say that until I get my first check on Feb 1st of 2020. So finally I had to get a three way call just to get the VA to explain to them why what they were asking for couldn’t be done and they required a VA Form 26-8937 just so we could close. I understand you have to prove that I have income to close. However, this is income from the federal government. It’s not like a job that can be stopped like I were fired. Yet, unlike a job I had to go through months of getting proof just to close. It’s like 2+2 does not equal 4 with your underwriters. The rating proposal was contingent upon me getting an honorable discharge, that plus my DD214 and the COE should have been more than enough to show that I will be getting income. It is common knowledge that VA disability checks come out on the first of the month. And that the veteran gets their first check, which is back pay on check one, the month after they separate from active duty. You need to deeply consider changing the leaps and bounds you make transitioning veterans go through to buy a home. I was incredibly close to ending all of it out of my frustrations and was even closer to losing my home because the sellers were running out of time.

The experience with VU was stress free and straight forward. We did our initial purchase with VU and the came back to refinance! Refinancing with VU seemed almost too easy! Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely recommend Veterans United to everyone we can.

Within a couple months I purchased a home and refinanced another using Veterans United, both real estate transactions were the easiest i've had, the Computer dash board was clear and easy to navigate, what was needed from me was easy to see with out playing phone tag and uploading docs was easy.

Thanks again for everything.
