First and foremost, Thank you all! Second, I'm glad it's over! At 55, this is my first home purchase. The first home I went under contract with was not so great, but I lay the blame on a shifty seller and an even shiftier seller's agent! Lesson learned. Regroup and got it done right the very next house with a new agent (Christi) I believe picked by Nicki & facilitated by Nicki & Rachel. In the end you all got me into the home I wanted so thank you!

So working with Veterans United(VU) during the home buying wasn't bad, they were attentive and got the job done. I went with VU mainly because they serve veterans and "claim" they will remain with you. They sold my loan the Planet Home Lending immediately with the statement below."Will anything change about my loan if it’s transferred?
The only change you’ll notice is where payments are going. Your terms will remain the same, and your team is always here for you regardless of who handles your loan"
I refinanced with Planet recently and just closed with a lower rate and monthlypayment.
My 1st payment was due April 1st. Before the 1st payment was even due I got an escrow shortage notice. I was told my paymet was increasing $195/ month. I asked, how could this be? I JUST closed like a month ago. Now my payment is HIGHER than it was with the original loan. Planet Home cannot explain it to me. I contacted my "Team" over at VU on 2 occasions and have been ghosted. I would not recommend. This is why I hold off on surveys until I see the entire picture.

I didn't know how to start the process, but I saw the ad from Veterans United and I'm very glad that I chose them. I've bought houses before, but Veterans United made the process much easier.
