very simple process, excellent communication, closed in less than 30 days! Robert and Evan were on top of everything start to finish. Expert for V.A. loan process, convenience of closing at our own table, no runaround!. You guys knocked it out of the park, you did everything you said you would do, and beyond. and the interest rate of 4.99, nobody was even close in comparison or willing to even try. keep doing what you're doing!

Over all the experience was really good. I did find it frustrating that most of time I called with a question , I had to leave a message and wait till the next day for a call back. I have to say Amanda F. was always helpful and if she could not answer my questions she would get me in touch with someone that could. The entire team work together to keep the process moving forward. I would definitely recommend Veterans United. The VU team assigned to me made my first home buying experience a breeze. The team was incredibly responsive and provided prompt answers to any questions I had. I felt at all times I was in good care with VU and that their transparency through the to the purchase made it a simply step by step process. I would be happy to work with my VU team again.

Thanks to her and Kyle, application to approval took less than a month.

As a first time homebuyer who was completing the process from a remote location due to work, I had a lot of questions. There were several issues that arose during the closing process that were not necessarily at the fault of Veterans United, however, I had the most difficult time obtaining information from anyone on the VU loan team during those moments. I called multiple people on several occasions, and left voicemails when they didn’t answer, but was frequently met with zero response. The day of closing, my realtor was under the impression that I could lose the house because he was apparently told that VU would not fund the mortgage until physical copies of the closing documentation were received. I then called Brandon (loan officer) who immediately began to condemn my realtor and sounded annoyed that I was calling for reassurance. He said there was nothing to worry about, that they were working on funding the mortgage, and he would reach back with an update. I literally never heard back from him. Thankfully everything seems to have turned out alright and I have a home on the other end of this interstate move. Due to the lack of communication during this process, I would not currently recommend Veterans United.

Buying your first home while coordinating everything remotely is already a stressful experience, and I’m sorry that communication from the loan team added to that stress instead of helping ease it. Feeling unable to get timely updates or answers, especially during critical moments leading up to closing, would be incredibly frustrating.

I’m also sorry to hear about the confusion surrounding funding on closing day. I can understand why hearing conflicting information would make you worry about losing the home, and it’s clear you were looking for reassurance and consistent communication throughout the process. While I’m glad everything ultimately came together and you’re settled into your new home, I hate that your experience left you feeling unsupported.
