The process is very involved, but that is the case with any mortgage company, however the re-do list was very easy to follow and my loan officer, Shane, was a pleasure to work with.

Great experience with everything involved in the loan process! Very prompt response times and a patient staff willing to explain everything I had questions on.However, I recommend just doing the legwork yourself when it comes to extra services like finding a real estate agent or home insurance. For home insurance, we ended up going with USAA; they were comparably priced to the ones VU suggested but with MUCH higher customer satisfaction ratings. The realtor VU paired us with was kinda garbage tbh and we ended up dropping him.
Veterans United is very helpful and patient as they guide you thru the process of buying a home. They are efficient and transparent at what they do. We would definitely recommend them to anyone ready to purchase their own home.Joy & Wally

My experience was not the "outstanding" service others have reported. Everything was excellent until the week before closing , when communication was slow and lot of reviews were being done at the last minute. Although we closed on time - it was a very stressful final week. I would suggest daily meetings with your loan officer as deadlines approach to ensure success. And don't hesitate to escalate your concerns - you will get someone to assist. In the end, I did close on time , and worked with a great realtor. So the end result was positive.
A potentially stressful process made smooth and practically stress free by a great team of loan professionals. I will 100% contact Veteran’s United for my next home purchase or refinance.

I have always been pleased with my results, and how we were treated.
Once the ball started rolling the process went quickly. We did not close when expected but that was understandable with the closing so near a holiday & the delay was only two days. I have no complaints!
