Constant delays, non-responsive to emails and phone calls. Had to extend rate lock twice due to poor planning and coordination. I do not recommend Veterans United for your home loan.

Buying a home is a stressful endeavor, luckily this was my 2nd home purchase so I was prepared for a lot of it. That doesn't mean it wasn't stressful. Jessica and Harley helped out a lot with the struggle, and I thank them for everything. For first time buyers; do everything as fast as you can and make the calls to keep the process moving. Buying a home in today's market is very fast paced, so you have to be as well. Don't be surprised when the dream home you are looking for comes on the market in the morning is gone by the afternoon, this happened several times during my search. I recommend Veterans United for your home buying needs.

My loan assistant took the time to walk me through the numbers and give estimates on closing costs, as well as explaining locking a rate and so forth. He never talked down in any way (due to my ignorance in some of the areas of financing) but was always very positive and helpful. He was also very good at forecasting what paperwork I might need down the road, so I was able to go ahead and start gathering that paperwork.
