The Veterans United Company is a excellent business to get a home loan from. Their service is impeccable, trustworthy, through, fact based, and pragmatic. The staff are courteous and professional. I enjoyed working with them and would recommend this organization to any Veteran, seeking to purchase a home.
Communication between the buyer and the loan specialists was so poor until they needed something in a short amount of time from the buyer. Random deadlines and expiration dates (that they couldn’t provide signed documentation for and told us to “Google”) were given to us after the fact in which they tried to postpone in order to give us higher rates. Without us knowing the legalities, they would’ve cost us an additional 6k. It’s a shame that a lending practice for veterans, those who have served and fought for this country, tries to scam and take from the very people they are supposed to represent!

Overall good company. Once the portal isbup and functional, it is easy to submit documents. They require a lot of documents if you're a VA loans person. Note that they are in CST whicch means an hour after East coast. Set a later closing to ensure they're available. Also, let them known you prefer a call ot text or the will think the portal and email are sufficient. They are very receptive and helpful.
