I used other mortgage companies in the past. I find United Veterans easy to work with, and I feel like everything went smoothly, even with a few blocks along the way. They never stop communicating, asking for paperwork needed to close the loan.

Great organization that does business right the first time
Veterans United Home Loans is Superior! Sure, there may be other lenders that ask for less documentation, however, those lenders oftentimes require money down. We are thankful that we were able to secure our dream home with a VA Loan through Veterans United with only the responsibility of paying for the appraisal and closing cost. We were able to get our seller to contribute almost half of our closing costs and they covered the pest inspection. A home inspection is not required, however, we did obtain one which allowed us to work with the sellers on a few items prior to closing. Our experience came with many challenges that we were able to overcome to include pandemic home loan deferment. Casey, being an expert was able to communicate frequently with Veterans United Home Loan Underwriters to properly advise us on required timelines, documentation, and clarification of questions outside of his scope.There was more documentation provided than I ever imagined, however, after reading posts placed by others, I realized that if they ask; then it is required. That means the requirements for the lender or the VA.We are truly blessed and excited to have our dream come true of owning such a beautiful home.
