I just wanted to say that my entire team Kim, Jamie, and Alex were absolutely amazing to work with. I could not have asked for a better team. They were quick and sufficient with everything they did throughout my loan process. If I had to recommend anyone who to go with when going through a loan with Veterans United it would 100% this amazing team of mine. They even sent a care package after I closed on my house! They sent dog treats and cat treats for my fur babies and even things that relate to my job like a badge holder and little badge scissors (I work in the Operating room). They also sent a gaming book because they knew I loved to game. All in all this team has amazing attention to detail and I wouldn’t want to go with anyone else when doing a loan process with veterans united.

Our Loan Coordinator, Jeffery Howard, also went above and beyond to help us compete the underwriting process. He stayed in constant communication with us until the very end.

I appreciate all the help, I do have to be honest however, my friend and I are both moving to the same area at the same time, we both looked for houses at the same time, we have similar credit and wanted similar houses, and we were both offered a similar rate, however, he said he wanted 4.99%. He was initially told this was not possible but after some back and forth he was able to make that happen, I trusted that the rate I was given was the absolute best that could be offered. I didn’t “play the game” because I was very new to the process. But now I wonder what I could have gotten if I had been the “squeaky wheel”? Now I have to look to refinance my home at the absolute first possible opportunity and pay all the associated fees with that in the hopes of having a better rate. I believed we were a team, but now I feel more like a customer and the goal with me was to pay as much as possible without going to another service.

Michael was outstanding. He helped me organize my loan in a way that helped me buy points to lower my interest rate thus saving money each month on principal & interest. His team even sent me a personalized gift for my dogs that was waiting on my doorstep at my new house. My loan processor, Lindsey, kept on the ball making sure I got my documents in on time so I could close on my loan in under 30 days. The VU team I had was amazing. I received A+ service and look forward to sending other veterans to them.
