I was a diehard USAA borrower for 2 decades. All my auto loans, home loans, credit cards, and insurance was through USAA. I decide to shop around and I’m so glad I did. VU beat USAA’s quote by 1.25%. They even offered me the option to get free quotes on auto/home insurance through their Insurance branch. Those quotes saved me about $2k per year. USAA used to be the front runner but it looks like VU came to the game ready to make a statement!
