Being a Gulf war veteran suffering with PTSD issues and more, you all gave me something to truly look forward too,I thank you all.you helped me accomplish a goal, for once again in my life I feel important and that I have a purpose on this earth 🌎❤️Thank you veterans united
It was a real pleasure doing business with the Veterans United Team, everyone was very efficient in all areas including but not limited to communication, clarity, professionalism, and friendliness. At no point during the process did I ever feel like I was “lost” on what was being done or what needed to be done. This Team makes first time home buying a breeze!
It was great working with Steve and the rest of the team. Easy to talk, very responsive and we’re always a call away to answer any question!
If we ever buy again, we hope to end up with the same exact team :)
I can not thank the VA home loan enough for helping my wife and I purchase our FIRST New home!!
Thank you for helping me buy my home I love you guys keep up the great work veterans really need you
The first problem is that my locked in rate expired without prior notice from the lender, which would have made me pay 750 cash to close instead of getting 1800 back.
Second, the lending team didn't catch the lack of required wind and hail storm coverage until the day of closing, which cost me money. My total loss from this experience is approx $4,150. And that is with the seller giving $10,343 in closing cost.
Response from Veterans United
Thank you for sharing your experience with us Brandon. While we always look to ensure the best experience for our customers, it is important that we focus our efforts on reasonable solutions especially with regard to rates. Team work is essential to our ability to deliver exceptional service and we have established means to prevent experiences like yours. We are sorry that communication was the bottleneck with your home buying journey. While correct HOI coverage would not be seen as a loss in funds, but rather a responsibility, having it disclosed and explained is certainly something that should always transpire when checking in that policy. We hope that in the end you will enjoy your home for years to come and we apologize for any confusion that may have surrounded your HOI obligations. Should you wish to share more information regarding this or any other matter, then please do not hesitate to connect with us.
Thank you again, could not be more satisfied.
Overall, a very good experience from start to finish and knowing that they will be there for the entirety of my mortgage is a plus. The whole team was very helpful and available at a moments notice. Bravo.
