This was my first home buying experience, and it was terrible, and it pissed me off repeatedly. You’re nothing but a number to these people. Every party involved in this transaction from myself, my employer, my agent, the sellers, the sellers agent, AND the title clerk were highly aggravated with veterans united as a whole. The title clerk cringes when she sees this company come across her desk, because it’s the same thing every time. The lack of communication is the single biggest problem, no one knew what was going on at any given time. My agent confirmed times at which I was available to do certain details, and VU kept changing the time to something I wasn’t available for, and VU was retold repeatedly when and where I was available. It’s almost like VU doesn’t give a shit what the plans are for everyone involved, just as long as they can check the block for another VA loan.Did I get into the house I wanted? YesIs the interest rate at the national average for a VA loan at closing time? YesThey weren’t rude people, very pleasant but they literally asked for the same documents many times over, shit that had already been sent twice before. It’s like this company has a comprehension problem, and that’s what I don’t get.For it being my first experience with hone buying, it was terrible, and I’m glad it’s over.I wouldn’t recommend this company to my dead grandmother.

I would recommend anyone who is looking to refinance to Veterans United!

The entire team at Veterans United was amazing! They truly went above and beyond throughout the entire process and we will always be grateful for it.

This is our second time using Veterans United to purchase a home. The process is smooth and they communicated with us the entire way. I would highly recommend Veterans United for purchasing a home. A great team!

It may have taken a little more time than a traditional home loan but it was worth it at the end and all involved were more than helpful.

Everything went well.it went smoother than I thought.

Dave Buchner and Lisa Griffin were amazing throughput the entire home buying process. They are true professionals who sincerely care about their clients. Without a doubt, I will use them again if I ever buy another house!!

Veteran's United made it possible for me to finally obtain a permanent residence that is safe and easy to get around in with my disabilities. I shopped around and neither USAA nor Navy Federal Credit Union could provide the service I needed with the quick turn around I needed it in. It is my opinion that my loan officer, Sam Brown, and his team went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me make my first home purchase a realty. Sam is an excellent communicator and was very patient and understand in light of my cognitive and communication processing disabilities. Sam made me feel like I mattered as a person and veteran and not just another mortgage case to process and close. Sam was very expedient in his responses to any questions or misunderstandings that I encountered. If I could issue a letter of Commendation, I surely would. I was in a horrible and unsafe living situation in my apartment. The loan team was able to step up to the plate and help facilitate a closing in less than 30 days while other mortgage companies I spoke with were taking up to 60 days to close on home sales. My emotional support animals and I are now in a safe and healthy living environment. My anxiety and PTSD are already starting to ease up a bit and I can actually sleep some now. My deepest thanks and most sincere gratitude are extended to Veteran's United, Sam Brown and his loan team that pulled this transaction together and made my life easier and safer.

I highly recomend Veteran United Home Loan, they will get your home buying mission accomplished!

Amazing lender to work with. I would totally recommend to other active duty personnel that are looking to buy a home. I hope everyone else has a great experience like I did.

I will never use this company again, or any of it's affiliates. I will actively campaign against anyone I know using them. At this point the only acceptable resolution would be for VU to eat the almost $2000 they say they need out of escrow to pay their shortfall and refund me my full escrow. Besides that, there is nothing left to discuss.

Thank you!

I had a terrible experience with VU. I was approved immediately and everything seemed to be going well until the actual buying process started. I was cosigned on a loan. I had the loan holder refinance so I was off the loan. And then had to jump through hoops and pull teeth to the point where I almost gave up on buying the house because they would not work with me. Overall I would recommend anyone else besides VU.

Easiest home buying experience I ever had. Robert and his team were off the charts helpfully and took time to address any questions I had. Will definitely recommend these folks as often as I can.

I was extremely happy to get the loan. I got my dream house and they made it happen.
