
My only recommendation is that all VU employees respect the service of the veterans applying for home loans by addressing them by their rank. Many veterans served with honor and distinction and wrote a blank check payable to the American public up to and including their lives. It would seem to me a mark of deep respect if all VU employees would recognize this sacrifice by addressing the veteran by the rank they achieved while serving their nation. Many other veteran centric companies do so (USAA, AAFMAA, AFCEA, etc.) and are highly regarded by veterans. COL Bartlett (USA RET)

It was excellent working with the Veterans they really help you to get your home! The team we had is outstanding. To Kayla, Nina and John we are grateful that you part of this journey with us. The loan process went very smooth until the week before closing. The lender sent us extra requirements for well inspection 2 days before closing (even though the information HC been presented the week prior) that delayed closing. The week and day of closing we received multiple requests (per day) in the “to do” list for reviews and documents up to hours before closing. We were very responsive with providing information when requested. The lending team seemed very disorganized for closing asking for multiple items when closing was overdue. This delayed our closing by multiple days and forced us to enter into an agreement to occupy house early. I am dissatisfied with the lender team completing their reviews and letting us know what they needed prior to scheduled close. Not only did it delay our closing, but all the requirements weren’t listed causing multiple emails and uploads day of closing when the information could have been related up front. Would not recommend.

I just recently closed on my house. My loan team Matt and Amy was on top of everything and made this stressful process as smooth as possible. Although there were some paperwork delay because of an unexpected error which wasn’t the fault of the loan team. Matt and Amy were on top of the issue and had it fixed right away. I would totally recommend United Home Loans to friends and family.


The one person that deserves a lot of credit is Taylor Hoff. I have never worked with a more professional person over text, phone call and email in my entire life. Taylor was absolutely amazing and was someone I knew if I had a question he would be able to provide the answer no matter what time!



Greg and his team made this process for buying our first home while still active duty and apart from my spouse, so easy and pain free!! I never felt too embarrassed to ask every little question and never made to feel like I couldn’t.
