I was not 100% ready to go down this road. Life happens and you have to make the best of it. I would encourage anybody wanting to buy a house or forever home to give Veterans United a chance. You will be happy you did. Everyone at Veterans United I worked with was super friendly, professional, supportive, and responsive. I think of them like a second family. Awesome!
Our only issue with Veterans United is their inability to call us when we needed them. I understand that a call to the UK is long distance but is absolutely doable. We also had issues with the underwriter and their lack of communication, information from the underwriter was passed to Veterans United and then to us which let to an enormous amount of stress.
They get the job done in a timely manner. They are very good at there craft.
The process with Veterans United was easy and seamless. I was very disappointed/upset when Boston Title sent a notary to our home who had been sick and diagnosed with COVID and returned to work and visiting peoples homes without being retested. I understand this was set up without the knowledge of Veterans United but it overshadowed the entire process and forced us to quarantine over Christmas as we closed December 18th. This process ruined the family Christmas... topping off 2020.
Kind of hectic at times mainly due to the Corona virus but getting past that I don't think I could have had a better Team to assist me and guide me to complications of purchasing a home.
