I slammed Underwriting because this is the fifth time in my life that I have bought a house and I have never experienced anything close to the excessive and drawn out analysis I was put through. Another complaint I have is that we asked to have the house titled in our trust. We sent a copy of the trust to them, and they wanted our lawyer to draw up more documents. We did this (at a cost of $250) and submitted them. Weeks later underwriting said they couldn't put the title inn irrevocable trust. Fine, would have been nice to know that 2 weeks and $250 sooner.
I would not recommend. Closed late. Almost lost the deal.

I had a wonder experience
I could not be Happier dealing with Veterans United. I was Skeptical to go "On-Line" and give out private Information. They were so Gracious the Whole way thru the process. I didn't know if I would qualify as a Widow of a Veteran.....but they confirmed I did and have saved me money on the house payment I still have after losing my Beloved Husband, Veteran.
