I was able to close on my first house in exactly 1 month and the whole experience was so much less stressful than I had envisioned. Everyone at VU was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and kept me informed every step of the way. 20 out of 10!!

No complaints with any part of the process

We are grateful that Veterans United made it possible for us to purchase a home. We appreciate Megan, Jason's assistant who was incredibly helpful to work with.
Response from Veterans United
John, We are very happy that your loan went through correctly and on the purchase of your new home. We always want to have a strong communication line between the client and the loan team. This is a great way to keep everyone on board and help the process close in a timely manner. The loan teams strive for this. We would like to thank you again for choosing Veterans United and thank you for your service.
Overall, this is a good company. However, losing fax documents that come in. Not knowing that insurance paperwork is filed. Screwing up the payment of taxes into the monthly payment are all things that should not happen for a reputable company. Mistakes happen, but these mistakes can drag out a loan process as well as possibly lose them business. Also, dealing with a VA loan they should at this point in time be able to pre-determine things that are going to be needed like a well water report, instead of waiting until the very end to request it. It actually cost me a few days on the closing.

Overall the process went very smoothly thanks to Garrett, Heather, and Elijah. I had no Home buying experience whatsoever (literally no clue) and they guided me every step of the way, answering all of my questions as well as helping me resolve any conflicts I had. Truly an awesome team for anyone looking to get into a new home.Thank You All So Much.
