I can't understand why race would have anything to do with your home-buying experience.I didn't really like E-sign because changes could be made without your knowledge. For example, I wasn't aware until closing that I would be responsible for taxes on 3 parcels instead of the 2 that actually came with my home purchase. Also it's crazy that the percentage rates applied makes your actual loan amount almost 2 times the worth of your home. Most of your money is applied to interest instead of the principal amount

veteran United home loan is the greatest organization a veteran can use in order to purchase a home.
Veterans United Home Loans is NOT the same thing as the VA. Having a Real Estate Agent who has worked VA loans before was extremely helpful to me....someone who could call them up to move things along and clarify terms and conditions from the Seller and as needed for the Closing.

I have heard many "horror" stories about buying and closing on a home, but I am very glad to say that is not the case with Veterans United. Aside from a small hic-up on the sellers side before closing, the entire process was very fast and more importantly, easy and stress free for me. Caleb and Nate communicated with me frequently throughout the entire process and answered the many questions I had as a first time home owner. I would highly recommend Veterans United for any VA Home Loan or regular Home Loan for that matter. Could not have had a better home buying experience.

One thing I've not had a chance to understand just yet, is why - when I thought I would be getting back most if not all of my $1,000 earnest money - I wound up paying an EXTRA $116.33 at closing?!That is a $1,116 turn-around from where I expected to be, to where we wound up. I shall be digging a bit to see how this went upside-down.
Missed our tentative closing date due to some unforeseen underwriter requirements, and document resubmissions. No forecasted closing date made at the time. The settlement company contacted us on the day of the closing. Had to reschedule work related travel to facilitate the closing. We were still verifying employment during the closing process? Overall, I was pleased with the experience, and the timeframe to close.
