Only concern surrounds closing costs. Not knowing what is needed until the day prior to closing.Also, inform first time buyers of the typical costs they should be prepared to have available.Other than those two concerns, this was a phenomenal experience with a great team. Oh, the initial real estate agent could have been more involved. Lack of involvement pressured us to find another agent.

This is my second home loan with Veterans United, Colin Park. I honestly wouldn't ever request anyone else to assist me with obtaining a loan. Colin and his staff went above and beyond and was exceptional, Top shelf service. Highly recommend VA United, Colin Park to anyone looking to secure financing for a real estate transaction. Colin was always honest with me, informative, and he allowed me to ask the most minute questions which was a bunch ! and he answered them where I could understand and most important expeditiously! every time.
Colin Park got me a very competitive rate even finding a way later on of lowering it further when rates dropped, he was on top! My only complaint was being asked for the same information and/or documentation multiple times. My time, just as your workers time, is valuable. With this in mind, why am I wasting my time? Why are they wasting there time? Why do you need my insurance policy 3-5 times? Why does my credit justify not even needing my wife to cosign, but you bother her for the same documents in different varieties? These are just some of the questions I have, all of which without answers.
This was my very first home buying experience and although I was extremely nervous going into it Veterans United made this a pleasurable event for my family and I. My agent Kevin was very responsive and knowledgeable which helped set my family and I at ease. Would definitely recommend him and Veterans United to family and friends.
