I am 71 years old . I received my first VA loan in 1976 after serving with the NAVY in Viet Nam. This is my second. We built a new home and had to put down 84K on the construction loan. We switched to VA loan and received 66K back at closing . The interest rate was over one percent less. Very thrilled with the process.
