Delay after delay after delay. That’s how it felt after my offer was accepted on the property I fell in love with almost as soon as I saw it. To me, it felt like I was dealing with longtime friends I could turn to for advice. After many struggles, 3,000 miles in an oil-guzzling Subaru, four very well-behaved puppies, and some close calls on winding mountain passes, we finally made it to our new home—and I couldn’t be happier.If nothing else, I want to thank the team at VU and my real estate agent for helping me get into the home of my dreams.
