I originally started this process with USAA and I didn't like how they did not have a specific loan person assigned. Everytime you would call, you were not able to reach anyone. At first, I started talking to VU just to get a rate comparison and then I ended up liking them better. The process was close to seamless and took 30 days to close. I would recommend VU to any Veteran, or current military. You will be glad to close quickly.

My experience would not have me recommend Veterans United. There are , as I came to find out, many lending agencies that also serve veterans with added special benefits. I'm afraid that many of us veterans are misled simply by the name of the company. Do more homework than I did to find various options before committing to a home loan supplier.

The zero down is the only benefit I feel I received, everyone seemed like they didn’t know left from right and only cared about closing so they could get paid!

I have already been recommending Veterans United to other veterans that I know. Easiest home loan I have ever done and also the fastest. I know every case can be different, but they go above and beyond to make it happen as easy as possible.
