Home Buyer Beware. I know this comment wont be posted, but Buyer Beware. 2 weeks past closing and I am still being asked to sign documents that Veterans United lost for a 3rd time. Still waiting on debt to be paid over two weeks ago. No follow up from Veterans United. They washed their hands as soon as they got their money. I would shop around before going with them.Their loan "specialist" was unaware of major loan changes from over a month ago so 3 days before closing my entire loan term and monthly payment changed. Not what you would expect from someone so highly recommended.

Response from Veterans United
Thank you for your honesty Kayla. We value your opinion and would like to know more about what led you to feel this way. Please contact our Client Advocate team to discuss your home purchase in more detail.
In my experience, VU had a high interest rate when compared to other lenders. If you have good credit and good income, search around and try to work with VU to at least match competitor quotes. I found that worked in my case with my loan specialist, Mitch Casteel, who was very accommodating.

For all fellow veterans, I would have to say that Veterans United is a great tool to have in your pack. Very flexible and understanding of veterans issues and extremely helpful. I will certainly use them again in the event I have to ever buy a new home.

Thought this process would be difficult to deal with, but with Marty’s help he made it very simple and easy to understand!

VU is very veteran friendly and makes the home loan process simple and straightforward. The representatives understand VA loans and are looking out for your best interests. Their rates are competative and they communicate clearly. I highly recommend them for any veteran looking for a home.

Everyone involved at Veterans United, are very detailed, professional. They walked me through every step of the loan process. They worked extremely hard to get my loan processed in time for the closing date agreed on, Five weeks to the day.

Excellent loan officer!

Veterans United is the best mortgage company for any veteran. I would recommend to all vets.

I'm beyond pleased with the service I received from both Veterans United and Steve Hopper. I refinanced my condo, paid off all my debt off,and even got a lower interest rate. I'm so happy I made the decision to reach out to Veterans United. Thank you very much and I will highly recommend all of you to anyone with home buying or refinancing questions. From my home to yours, have an amazing day and thank you.Angel
