The process of refinancing our home with a VA loan was by no means an easy one. If you decide to attempt a similar transaction, go in with eyes wide open and know ahead of time that the process is convoluted and time consuming. Also, the costs almost always be more than what you were quoted....quite a bit more!

The VA appraiser used in the Tucson, AZ area was less than good. The VA Administration should consider using a different appraiser in the future.
