Dealing with Mr.J.Polk was easy and fairly simple, but I did not deal with him most. dealing with the assistant, or the second hand person was nerve racking. VU has the best rates, so with that I would refer.

I can not express how much Veterans United has helped me with my first home. The staff members are excellent (Jessica Zulauf and Kris Santos). The communication and direction was on point. Just to express how smooth the loan process went, the loan closed in 18 days! Yes 18 days!! I would highly recommend any veteran or military personnel to get their loan through Veteran United. Veterans United was very helpful and easy to work with from the start I will definitely reccomend all of my friends contact them if they are looking for a home.
I have purchased 7 homes using my VA benefit. Veterans United has been, by far, my worst experience. It started off fine with Asli as she worked on my pre-approval. She got my pre-approval letter to me very quickly. Shortly thereafter, Asli was no longer working on my loan and Nathaniel took over the handling of my loan process. It truly seemed as though he had never been involved in the VA loan process, and that I was a guinea pig. There was nothing proactive about the process. Everything was a last minute requirement for some new document, up to and including, the morning of closing. I was asked for the same documents on several occasions, even though I had already uploaded them into the VU system. This entire process has been so mentally and emotionally fatiguing that I don’t want to think about it any more.
