This is my second VA home loan purchase, but my first with Veterans United. My first home purchase was not a good experience and i was weary of going through it again until i talked to a Veterans United representative. The Veterans United process is as stress free as it gets, they will walk you through every step and will do what they can to make the rough part of home buying a pleasant experience. Regardless of a few hiccups with paperwork they worked with me and gave me options. The My Veterans United page is easy to navigate and upload/read documents and loan statuses is an added plus and made things comforting. I will recommend any veteran buying a home to use them.
This was the best experience I could ever have wanted from buying a house. Clayton, my loan specialist, superbly supported and reassured me from the second I started talking to him. His explanations were clear, his advice on target, and he absolutely saved me a large amount of money. AND diligently ensured I only paid what the VA allowed. He was always available for any questions I had. The paperwork was done quickly, the signings were done promptly, and I even got to close a week early. He and Veterans United clearly work for us veterans, and in my view did a great solid for the veteran community with my mortgage.
