The team was very nice but in the communication they didn’t do very well they waited for the last min for information and caused us not to close on time

During the process I felt like I was the only one communicating to both parties (realtor and loan team). Just prior to closing there was a bunch of missed paperwork or stuff just not done or verified. I really wish it was easier and less stressful than my first purchase with you all. I will definitely consider you all in the future but that is only consider. I do thank everyone for their help but I just felt like I was only needed when there was a problem and that’s the only time I’d be able to get everything I needed to know

This was our second home loan with Veterans United. Our first time with Veterans United was amazing, the second time I cannot sing their praises as much. The home loan officer that we initially worked with was amazing. However, our second time around, others were assigned to the team and the communication was very poor. The lack of appropriate communication and follow through led us to not close on time. My family had moved out of our current home and drove 19-hours across the country to our new home. During our drive across the country we learned that the loan officer had not put together the documents needed to close our account and allow us to move on to closing. Our second experience was dreadful and I would not recommend Veterans United based upon our most recent experiences with them. We are a military family preparing for a year-long deployment and they made this experience significantly more stressful than it needed to be.

I was really impressed by how smooth and fast this whole process was. I must admit, I was not expecting any of that. My ex-husband and I bought a house 20 years ago, literally in 2003 (we only kept it for 3 yrs.), and the process was horrible! So, thank you for the smooth process. You all are good!
