If your a veteran and are thinking about home ownership, please reach out the VUHL. I contacted another mortgage lender 2 days before contacting them and was told to clear 5 grand in debt and to contact them 3 months after I did. On a hunch I call VUHL they looked at my credit told me to pay 500 hundred on my credit card and shortly afterwards I was pre approved. I contacted them Feburary 24th and got the keys to our new home on April 30th even if you have things in your past that you might think will stop you from home ownership call anyway you will be surprised of the program's they got to help veterans get in to your dream home.

My advice to other veterans -don't hesitate using Veterans United as your loan provider. They are intimately familiar with the VA loan requirements. This was very helpful to us. Also, it was SUPER convenient to be able to upload documents on their secure site. It made all the admin tasks really efficient!
