A special thanks to Matt Eichenberger and Brody for making our first time home buying experience a breeze! Your time and efforts will never be forgotten!
I highly recommend Veterans United. It was such an easy process and everyone involved was very kind and patient. Just great people to work with!!
Working with Nick was great. I walked in not really knowing anything about what kind of loan I needed, and just that I needed one. He listens to your specific scenario and helps you find a loan that fits. I felt like I was educated enough after meeting with him to make an informed decision, which is nice, since buying a home is a sizable investment. He communicates well and follows through on doing things within the time frame he outlines. He's just very helpful and professional, and I'd recommend anyone to work with him.
Try somewhere else. Not saying your experience will be as poor as mine, but don't say I didn't tell you so if you have a rough time with communication.
These people treat veterans with great respect even old veterans like me.
The people I dealt with were very helpful from start to finish. Specially David Kling and John Kirby

I would not use Veterans United again for any future home buying. I expected much more out of a Veteran aimed service. Our loan officer was continuously contacting me to find out if we had found anything. Emails almost daily. Once we found a home, he passed us off to the transaction coordinator. The transaction coordinator I was working with would say one thing and then back track quite often. She asked for repeat paperwork because the underwriter's needed it. Paperwork she had already been given. We closed nearly 2 wks later than planned. This experience was very frustrating.
Now that we are in our home and I have reflected, I started doing more research than I did previously. All the information I have read has been about the same. Closings being delayed due to incompetent workers. Do your homework. Just because their name is Veterans United, does not mean they are in the business for Veterans. They are strictly in it for the money. I'd much rather have gone through my bank directly or a different lender service.
1. Do your part and veterans United will make sure you will own your home.
2. Work with your team
