Yes it was time consuming but you know what it was worth it. We got our house. Just don't give up. Yes there were times I wanted to throw the towel in give up but my husband would tell me if you don't want the house I'll call them . That would stop me on my tracks. I did what I need to do and here we are with our own house. Thank you

Tyler Jones and all the Veterans United team did an exceptional job in helping us making the purchase of our new home a less burdensome task. My wife and I feel that there was nothing that we could of asked of them and that the team could not get done or do. We would recommend any veteran to use Veterans United for their home purchase. Great Job !!

Do your homework about the location. Check out the neighborhood during the day, at night, on weekends, on weekdays, when it rains-snows, traffic flow, and noise. A beautiful home in a rough neighborhood can add more stress to your life than is necessary. Get the required documents asap as this will facilitate how fast the loan officer can lock you into a low interest rate. Check the Vet United website and watch the videos as it will provide you with everything you need to know about the VA Loan. Make sure that you check for the approved VA Loan amount in your State/County. The VA covers 100% up to a certain amount depending on where you live (e.g. NYC ~ $500K). Anything over the VA backed loan amount, you'll have to pay 25% of the difference (i.e. you bought a home for $540K and VA only covers up to $500K in your county; then you have to come up with $10K down (25%) in order to be approved for a mortgage.HAVE YOUR HOME INSPECTED whether it's old or new!!! I cannot emphasize that enough. This is in addition to the VA Appraisal process.
