Our loan officer Lindsey James was always quick to respond to our questions and really took great care of our family. For first time home buyers, our experience with Veteran's United was top notch. I would highly recommend!
Difficult to get in touch with my loan team. Responses were not as timely as they could have been. A mix up on VU's part left me with an almost 3 week gap between my original closing date and when I actually was able to close. I also incurred fee's that were unexpected and at no fault of my own, that I still was made to pay. Overall, I am happy because I'm finally in this house, but dear Lord it was a nightmare getting to this point. I still believe that the VU team did their best, and that's why I still gave high ratings. However, I NEVER want to do this again. Wish me luck.

Michael was fantastic! He walked me through the entire process, helped me with any and all questions I had. He even adjusted his communication to work around my overnight work schedule! He was great! I highly recommend Michael Helton. He's the best! He even sent me some cool socks I wore on closing day, and a sweet BBQ tool set to help break in the back yard. His personal touch makes me feel like I now have a friend in the home loan business.
