We used Veterans United when we bought the home, and it was a no brained to use them for our Re-Fi. Carl is very professional and makes everything seem as if the process very matter of fact, which, I know it is, but he just keeps things moving. He is incredibly patient and I would never hesitate to refer others to him.
I appreciated the attention to detail and follow-up. He was terrific.
Very patient when problems arrive
We appreciate all the help from Cindy Woodham, and the straightforward and simple process for completing our loan refinance.
I highly recommend Veterans United. The staff understands us because there are veterans as well. outstanding customer service that borders on becoming extended family.

The team of Caleb, Drew and Shay were helpful and renewed our hope in securing the finances for a new home. They were literally just a phone call or an e mail away and we are most grateful for their time and diligence.
The process was easy and communication throughout was phenomenal. I will highly recommended veterans united.
If anyone is thinking of purchasing a HOME and need financing VUHL is the way to go. I've gone through the Loan process more than 5 times, and this time was by far the most efficient and easiest.
Great service to make easy by a property.
Marty was super knowledgeable and the process was relatively fast! Marty has a calming personality and reassured us along the way. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Marty. Do yourself a favor and use Veterans United! Our only regret was not using them for our previous house we bought!
This is the first time we have done a VA loan. There were costs that we had not seen in other loans which lowered our cash out in our refi. However, we did get near 90% loan to value and a decent interest rate, so that was a plus. The online document submission process was fairly easy. But some docs we submitted had an unclear status which showed "pending" and for a long time with no explanation of any problem. When the Fed interest rate decrease came out in September 2019, suddenly we had to close immediately and our closing was scheduled without checking with us. We had to cancel the initial closing date since we could not be available for that day. If our rep had checked with us first we could have given them some days. And when we did give a day a week out, we felt pressured to make it happen before the first of the next month. We did meet their preferred closing date, and after closing, we were told our funds would be released that day. Then we got a verbal that it would be the next Monday. Monday came and went by and ultimately the funds were not released for another 8 days from the closing with no communication from our rep during those 8 days that there was any issue. After the funds were released our rep stated that maybe there was a hold due to the amount. But no definite reason was given. NOTE not funds were released during that 8 days. The original mortgage was not paid off and our cash out was not paid, nor did our bank show any incoming funds.
Response from Veterans United
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback Robert. Our Client Advocate team will be reviewing your file to look for areas of improvement. We will also be working with your settlement agent for an explanation of the delayed funding, as they are the ones to disburse all funds. We truly appreciate you sharing your concerns.
Their origination fee is ridiculously high and they WON'T work with you on it. They just want your money.
Response from Veterans United
Thank you for your opinion Jacob. The origination fee is the only fee we charge to assist you in your home purchase. While not all lenders include an origination fee, most will include fees for their services regardless of what they are called. We encourage all our Veterans to review and compare loan estimates to ensure they find a lender that can best meet their needs. We truly hope you are enjoying your new home.
We had a great experience with both the initial purchase of our home and the refinancing through Veterans United! Thank you to Jason Crone and the rest of the team for making it happen for us! We are grateful to all who helped us with the home buying and refinance process! We highly recommend Veterans United!!!!
From the very beginning they made me feel welcomed and that they were there to make my experience a very good one. They keep me well informed throughout the whole process and made sure I understood all my options. And work great with my realtor. I commend Charlotte McClellan, Sonia Padilla, and Kris Blosser-Batey for all their hard work. They are a great group of people and I highly recommend using them.
I am so glad that I chose Veterans United Home Loans. They made my home buying experience an enjoyable one. They are very professional. They know what they are doing and they take the time to explain any part of the process that you aren't familiar with. I highly recommend that you choose them over any other Lender.
I am very please with the overall process. I have bought a few homes in my time and this was by far the easiest and that is mostly due to Kevin and the entire team at Veterans United. Their simple online forms and communication allowed the process to work smoothly and efficiently.
I had a great experience with Veteran Home Loan. I tried other loan company. But Veteran had the the BEST personnel. They had the experience and knowledge. I will recommend Veteran to all of my friends. Adam Craig is the MAN>
