I have tried other home loan places like USAA and quicken loans but the professionalism and job knowledge was amazing. My loan team was always avaible to answer my questions any time of night. They treat you like you are there only client, which is an amazing feeling. The title company absolute title were very organized. Very nice honest everyday people. No stuffy shirts. I don't think I could have had a better team to help me get through the agonizing process. I feel they did the best they can to help me through all of the VA's hoops and cons that were thrown in my path. I truly believe my team went above and beyond what was expected. My team was definitely part of the solution to various problems I encountered. The appraisal and appraisal process on the other hand I can not say absolutely anything positive about (VA's doing). In closing, if my one team is anything similar to the teams others may have/had with Veterans United, it was unbelievably positive.
There were a number of unforeseen issues, out of Mr, King's control, that popped up, some at the last minute (Termite Inspection, Private Road Access, Home in a Trust) that delayed the closing. The closing was tentatively scheduled for the 30th of August 2019 and got delayed until the 17th of Sept. 2019.Once we were cleared to close, we received no contact from the closing agent, until, no lie, 20 minutes before the scheduled closing time. The closing agent called then and explained that she was running late. I explained the the agent, that I had not heard from anyone regarding how to make the payment and the exact amount. The agent stated that I could make the payment after the closing. The closing agent did not provide the payment instructions or amount at the closing. I contacted Mr. King after the closing and got the instructions from him and was able to make the payment the same day as closing.It was Mr. King's determination that ultimately made the loan happen!
The overall experience with veterans United was great. Everyone was on the same page through out this journey. From the start to the end. Just stay on top of your paperwork trail and your good!!!!
