The process might be tough and frustrating at times, but when you have people on your side who want to see you as a homeowner it’ll be worth it. Both my loan officer and transaction coordinator made a way to make sure I was financed. They were patient and dedicated.
The quicker you are to get your documents in the easier the process will be.

VU is a good company, I did however experience major problems during my initial purchase. I ended up paying at least $4,000 more at the closing than I was quoted. My ‘specialist’, Katie Rose, couldn’t explain it to anyone, and eventually was rude to my closing attorney, who said he never encountered anyone like her from a mortgage company. The attorney waived his fee so we could buy our house. A month later a request for a review came to me. At that time, the person, I cannot remember his name, was shocked when I told him the story. He called back the next day and told me that no one could still figure out the accounting. The good part is, he sent us a check for a couple thousand dollars, leaving us out only a couple thousand dollars. I have since refinanced with VU, my specialist was Seth Wilmes and he was fantastic. So, regardless of my bad experience, I would use them again, but beware of promises, and document every contact with your specialist.
