I could go on for days about being a first time home buyer and my experience with Veterans United Home Loans. To make a long story short, when I first contacted VU, I found out my credit score was not high enough. Within minutes, they had me on the phone with a representative of their Lighthouse Program. The representative provided recommendations on how to get my score where it needed to be. I did exactly what was recommended and within four days my score was where it needed to be. We actually received our pre-approval letter that same day. From there, the loan team assigned to our home loan literally worked as quickly as we provided them with what they would ask for. We began this process just before Summer started and here we are still enjoying the Summer, in our new home. I am sure the team assigned to our loan had several other customers they were working with at the same time as us; however, they worked so closely with us, never leaving me guessing what was needed, or what to expect next, that it seemed like we were the only customer they were working with and the only thing that mattered to them was getting us into our new home. Thank you to the amazing team of professionals. You all know who you are. If your supervisor is reading this, they really deserve praise (and a good bonus at the least). Thank you again!

Working with VU was a great non-stressful process in the beginning. As long as you have the means and the paperwork readily available to submit it should be an easy process. Toward the end it was a little frustrating trying to get everyone (escrow, VU, agent) to communicate and get on the same page but we were able to get the house we wanted for the price we submitted and carry on with our lives successfully. Sam Yoo, Ryan Bogeart, and Randelle Hanks were especially awesome answering our questions as we had a lot of them being brand new to the whole process.Thanks so much for helping us become new homeowners!

We located Veterans United through the listing realtor. What a total surprise to learn that so many folks were behind us, helping all the way, so we could reach our goal of buying a home. All the staff was kind, compassionate, helpful, and just plain good folks to work with. Never was there pressure to make any decisions. Staff was neutral and gave us the options so we could make informed decisions that would work for our circumstances. If we had questions they were addressed almost as quickly as we made the query. We not only bought a home, but we met a new family along the way. What a wonderful gift to those who so proudly serve our country. Your kindness and knowledge brought hope to a very ill Vietnam Veteran. God Bless you all.

This company knows how to do VA loans and they are quite efficient as long as you handle your end of the deal in an expeditious manner. I’ve done four loans with these guys and you should to! Don’t let your agent tell you anything bad about an out of state lender, these guys are sharp, quick and better than any of the locals I’ve tried to work with in the past.

What a pleasure working with John, Kate and Amanda throughout what could have been a tedious chore. Instead this team of consummate professionals made the whole home buying process extremely easy. The website allowed sending copies to them simply by taking a picture and forwarding to them. We don’t have a computer but we were able to use our mini iPad in all the transactions including signing papers. I would highly recommend Veterans United to anyone needing a loan. Great, great staff. My sales agreement was never reviewed until the morning of closing so it had to be modified again at the last minute if the people at veterans United reviewed the paperwork that was turned in them it would cause much less hassle.

Michael, thank you for providing your open and honest feedback. We apologize for that hiccup on the day of settlement. Although a detail had to be corrected, we are glad this was caught before everything was finalized and we appreciated your help and understanding.
