Overall, our experience was very very positive. In the very beginning Lindsey followed up personally and the process was very smooth. It was at the end that we had minor hiccups: our prior addresses took multiple tries to be corrected and there were unforeseen delays in the underwriting process. But the minor issues are dwarfed by the positive experience of getting our dream home and being able to work with an out-of-state agent and company (Alberto and Veterans United), seamlessly.
Matt was VERY responsive, attentive, knowledgeable and dedicated in helping us with our very first home loan. Matt coordinated with realtor and us smoothly and effectively. He saved us a lot of time and headache. We often hear the process can be very challenging. However Matt’s attention and willingness to explain very thoroughly all our questions eased us on this process. We very thankful for his hard work. In today's real estate market. It's sad but true. Lenders are a dim a dozen. With that being said you need to be very competitive in basic customer service. Veterans United did not provide this for me. It was a big let down after I had herd so many positive things about the company. To be clear everything went through and I got a new home. So i am not just someone upset that they didnt get a house. I am going to advise to anyone I talk to shop around and use someone local because after my experince with veterans United i will not be using them again, and I would suggest that no one else does either! Because if I told someone to use veterans United and they went through what I did in dealing with them! I would be worried they would then be upset with me for suggesting they use them!

My overall experience with Veterans United was a great one. From start to finish I had help along the way. I never had a stressful time during my home buying process as my team worked very hard so I wouldn’t. I will definitely recommend them to everyone!
Nick really wants you to succeed in the process and very clearly lays everything out. He is a very charismatic individual, well spoken, and has a lot of confidence in his answers, which leaves you feeling very confident. I didn't at any time feel like I was lost and if I did, a quick call with nick would straighten out any confusion I may have had. He walked me through buying a house without a realtor, which is typically a little more paperwork and time consuming and made it seem easy. Thank you for all the time and effort!!
