Absolutely the best decision I made regarding a loan was going with VU. I had major issues with Navy Federal’s customer service and their timelines. It always took no less then 8 hours to hear back from them on EVERYBODY SINGLE attempt to reach my loan officer. Every time I called, she was away from her desk. When I got a call back, the conversation always started with I’m about to leave for the day, just wanted to make sure I called you back. Why thank you!!! I thought in my mind sarcastically. Navy federal has given me issues and several friends, I have turned over to VU! VU worked very fast! I closed in less then 30 days after making an offer and it being accepted. Everything was beyond easy with them. They told me from the first time I called them about pre-approval , that as I shop around for rates, that what I can expect from VU is GREAT customer service. They told me that when it’s all set and done it’s what will always stick out above the rest. Let me say that there is no question about !!! They were the best!!! No one compares! It’s hard to put into words how amazing Alberto was. I could reach him within minutes, any day any time. I never had any issues get a response about any concern. Unlike navy federal, he would get back to min in under 5 minutes... where as navy federal averaged 8-9 hours on any question. I was able to text Alberto, call or email. I recommend him to everyone!!!!!!Go with Veterns United!!!!!!!!! You will not regret it!!!!
Everyone I dealt with at Veterans United was professional, courteous, timely, patient, knowledgeable and respectful. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience being a first time home buyer! Kollin King, Lauren Sutterer, and Charlie Holsten deserve so much credit for their expedited handling of my loan from betting to end.
