When I first signed up with VU, the website spoke of high referral ratings. I was in the "yeah, sure...of course they are going to cite some stat that makes them look good but I bet there is a peculiar obscure catch like among veterans with 100% cash offers or among veterans named Roger who live in Mobile Alabama with two cats and a Ford Mustang" camp. But you guys really came through for me. I can add my 100% positive plug for veterans named Nick who live in Michigan, with two kids, one dog and a Jeep.

Our Veteran's United team were the best. We couldn't believe it when our cash out re-fi loan loan closed within a little over two weeks after submitting the application. I would recommend Veteran's United to anyone looking to re-fi their VA loan.

Once we started the process the response was very impressive. Our team was able to guide us through the home buying process in a very efficient manner. The time constraint was met and the seller's and the seller's agent were impressed with the whole process.

I highly recommend using your nearest vu loan office where reputation is of highest importance to them. The buzz in this area is that if you use local office there are rarely issues on the vu end. When an office is used outside of the area there are often delays. I feel our loan was unnecessarily delayed which resulted in a delayed closing that caused undue stress and hardship. Items that were asked for could have been provided weeks before they were requested. The portal is amazing however for 5 weeks we were in underwriting and according to staff our package wasn't sent until the day before the scheduled closing. We purposely chose 8 weeks for closing to prevent any time issues. There was plenty of time for underwriting.
Now with two homes bought and the second just refinanced, I would definitely recommend Veteran's United.As with anything financial you sometimes hit a snag. I just wait it out and Matt Lucas with his team have always given knowledge to get past the issue or just handle it, share the solution, and move forward. As with anything, do your own research, but I don't think you will find a better group to successfully get through to life's next milestone.
