I am still disappointed about the mistake made by the underwriting team. I was informed by Ryan and Kelly that my first payment would not be due until May 1. However, at closing, the closing documents reflected an April 1 due date. When I inquired about this discrepancy, Ryan informed me that if I wanted the date corrected, I would have to wait until the next day to close.My wife and I had already adjusted our work schedules to accommodate the planned closing date, and if we had chosen not to sign the documents with the incorrect first payment date, we would have had to wait an additional four days to close.Aside from this issue, my wife and I had a great experience working with the loan team, and we appreciate their efforts throughout the process.
It’s the second time we work with Schandler and his team, and we will continue to reach out to him if we are in need of loan services. He is very nice, knowledgeable, great disposition and always available.

Unfiltered? Well, shitttt, Veterans United was the bomb diggity! I'm talking the sweetest pickles this side of the Mississippi. Our entire team spoiled us, and now I have raised my standards for all services we have in the future. Look out, commerce, there's a new Karen on the rise; I kid, kind of. Chris Campbell was our ride or die, the coolest of the cools; He's understanding and goes the extra mile, delivers results 15 minutes prior, JUST BECAUSE HE CAN. Our buying process was smoother than a honey bee singing jazz on a Tuesday night. 10/10. Need I say more?
Despite some hiccups in the communication between the Lending team and the Agent, overall I had a good experience utilizing Veterans United for my first home purchase.
