Veterans United is by far, an exceptional team of professionals that know the industry, understand the market and clients' needs to put together a reliable and dependable team of professionals from the application process all the way to the closing.
Too many mistakes. Issues with switching personnel, eligibility for a VA loan, inconsistent quotes. We had to delay closing several times and kept getting asked questions that could be answered if the paperwork we submitted was looked at. Patrick and Jimmie were very polite and always responsive, but at the end of the day, we also needed accurate. The day before closing is not a good time to ask for documents after saying we are good to go all week .

Although I was very pleased with my loan specialist I was frustrated once the loan went to underwriting. We had provided all the information requested in a timely manner but they continued to ask for more and more information and the loan was delayed because of their requests from our home owner's insurance company. The underwriters seemed to have some requirements that were way beyond necessary for a loan that was well below the appraisal value of our house. I understand that some of this is because it was a VA Loan but it was still frustrating when we had met all the conditions. If I were to recommend Veteran's United to others I would brag on the specialist but warn others to expect delays with underwriting.

The entire process was very pleasant and low stress.
Our situation wasn't quite like everyone elses. We had money to put down so we aren't really sure if we should have even went with a VA loan. I do believe Veterans United would be a good company for families with no money to put down on a home. The loan process can be demanding expecially when the borrowers have a military backround that required a lot of moving and changing of jobs. Explaining everything got to be frustrating, but I get it so we just kept going. Overall the expience was fine and everyone worked with us the best they could. Hopefully the rest of our expience paying off the loan goes good. We would recomend Veterans United to our Military friends and family based off of our expirience.
