It was amazing! Everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! This was our first time buying a home and I would do it again in a heartbeat with this team!
Everything was painless and fast. Approval to closing was about 30 days. Everyone was amazing and on top of everything. Hopefully I never move again, but if I do I will use Veteran’s United again.

I would say the loan officers i initially worked with was a very nice person and helped in many ways; however, after that the loan team was all over the place. The closure report was confusing with all the fees, and not to mention the last minute before signing the closing documents, "oh, we forgot, you need to pay for flood insurance before closing"..even though I'm on a 3rd floor condo??? I felt like i was playing "find the peanut under the shell" game because each day was a new find or adventure..I felt like i was being scammed.

I’m glad your initial loan officer was helpful, but I’m sorry that confidence didn’t carry through the rest of your experience. Unexpected costs and learning about the flood insurance requirement right before signing would understandably add to the frustration, especially when you already felt like new information was coming up throughout the process.
