The little extra things, like sending personalized glasses and the "welcome home" package, were very nice additions. However, it detracts from the experience when the customer's name is misspelled. Charlie, to his credit, was very apologetic and even sent me new ones.

The team was always available to answer my questions and answers were simple and easy to understand (nothing complicated) If one person on the team didn’t have the answer they would say so and pass it to the other person that could and again very prompt with getting back to you with the answer . Always very professional ether on the phone text or email . I went with this company to lower my interest rate , working with the team was very comfortable and professional at no time did I feel uneasy or like I didn’t understand what was going on or what to expect next everything was explained and was informed what the next step was going to be . The team is the best .

I've gone through the buying and selling of a home seven times now; VU smokes all the competitors among the military focused lenders. On this home purchase, VU performance was especially impacting to me as I just refinanced a loan, as a cosigner, with another nationally recognized military focused lender who was not so efficient or customer focused as VU. The Veterans United team ran circles around those folks, pros versus "sandlot" rookies. VU is the best! Don't waste a second of your time considering any other lender. Go with Veterans United!
