It was a great experience working with veterans United on the purchase of a home. We were able to keep in touch daily, and we exchange documents that were needed for completion of the loan. I recommend to any veteran that this is the organisation to work with.
I have nothing but good things to say about Veteran's United. They were helpful, supportive from day one to closing. I was having problems with finding a home that would fit my needs and be able to go through VA loan. Unfortunately it was difficult, with my initial real estate agent. I am not sure if that person knew much about VA loans. They encouraged me to go another route on my loan, and not go VA. My initial real estate agent finally gave up on me. I was beginning to think I would never find a home for me and my family. Harris Giger had got me in touch with a real estate agent who was able to assist me in finding a real estate agent in my area, who knew the VA loan system. She was fantastic!! and she did not give up on me. I had a glitch that I feared may have caused my loan to be denied, but Veterans United staff helped me resolve this also.
I now have a home that I want and that fits my and my families needs. We are very happy. No unhappy surprises at closing, which I did have at the last home that I bought ( was not a VA loan) . Veterans United was up front with me through out the process to closing.
VA loans can be tough, but with the right people and support, they can make it happen with a bit less pain and it is well worth it in the end. I got a good loan with a good interest rate with no unhappy surprises in the end. So, I would definitely tell any Veteran to use his/her VA loan privilege, and I do honestly recommend "Veterans United".
For being new at purchasing a home, my experience with VU was positive. I greatly appreciate my VA Home Loan Specialist, Scott Houin, as well as the realtor agent, Tami Jones at Executive Realty in Florida. I tried at first going through my bank, USAA and use the Movers Advantage Program but all I got was rudeness. So glad I went through VU and their staff members because the home I purchased was a shortsale so it took about six months all together to close the deal but due to the wonderful staff at VU and the referred realtor agency VU provided, they made the six months painless/stress-free for me.

Mr. Barba explained and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. The paper work that was needed was sent over night and the whole process was very smooth and fast.
Working with Derek Fletcher was a breeze. He kept me and my wife very informed every step of theach way up until the day we closed and I felt very comfortable all the way through.
I highly recommend Veterans United to purchase your next home. I have co-workers that did and they had recommended that I do. Loan Specialists provided great in purchasing a new home.
We completed our entire loan process in less than three weeks! This was untouchable by any other lender.
