Working with veterans united was great. I think the only downfall, and this might have been because of the house being a new build, but 4 weeks prior to closing we had a 3 week period of nothing from our loan team. And in the week leading up to our estimated closing they began requesting more documents for underwriting which led to a late notification of clear to close and we did not get notification of cash to close until 3 hours before closing. This would have been less stressful if we had not had to travel 10 hours in order to close. It was very inconvenient. But they did get the job done, approved our loan and got us into our first new home which we are very thankful for.



Both of my loan officers were very responsive to my annoying questions and handled them in a timely manner.
