After unforeseen bumps in the road, we have finally closed. Initially, our veterans united representative seemed knowledgeable, and on top of it. The portal was easy to use, and showed documents that were needed, needed to be signed, and needed to be uploaded. Our closing was scheduled about 4 weeks in advance, and appeared to be in the clear, until 10 days prior to closing where we were told that my husbands income, which they had knowledge of all along, would not be able to be used. Additionally, we would have to pay off our car loan in order to proceed with the loan. The nonchalant suggestion to ‘Just pay off the car’ was bothersome. However, we pushed through. The day prior to closing the lawyer representing the closing said they had received no documents from veterans united. The day of the closing we got a call from the seller and lawyer asking us to send them any documents we had, because they still haven't received the documents from veterans united. When asked, the representative came up with several excuses, and prefaced it by saying “I know these sound like excuses.” While we were able to close on time, we were not able to receive our keys because the check had not been cleared due to the late turning in of documents. In the end, we felt like we were just a number with veterans united.

The is and never could be such a wonderful and awesome company to sign with. They go out of their way to help and find you a home
I don’t think it’s possible to have a better home buying experience than what my wife and I had with Veterans United! Veterans United helped us buy our first home and the process was so simple! Our lending team walked us through every step of the way making sure everything went smoothly! We could not be happier!!!
Veteran's United is highly recommended by my wife and I. We were able to get the lowest interest rates and the highest loan approval. The team at Veteran's United is second to none. Thank you Veteran's United for such a great experience.
This was our second time around with Veterans United. Both times we were at critical turning points in our lives and your representatives were THE BEST : ) We saved a SIGNIFICANT amount of money and feel confident and at peace with the results going forward in the adventure of home ownership.
It was my first time buying a house and Veterans United made it as easy as possible for me. They always delivered on time when it was possible and I can tell they absolutely tried their very best to help me. I strongly recommend them for any veteran. You can’t go wrong, they won’t allow it.
This was a last minute decision we made to buy a house and the whole team made it easy to do.
Mike was available to talk on the phone or one of his assistance. Understand that we live in a digital world. Some of us are electronically challenged. After buying houses over a period of 60+ years seems like I got a deal with the computer instead of a person. This may be much cheaper for the company but it’s an accessible to a lot of us he did not grow up in the computer range. This is the first time I’ve ever close to Oregon through this process in such detail on the house when is available say somebody was on the telephone you didn’t change the fact The computer knowledge and resources on the clients end are still very much misunderstood. I currently live in Panama City Florida which a lot of the country knows was devastated by the hurricane. Our infrastructure is far from optimal. I do not even have cell service at my house. It seemed like it was still up to me to do all the legwork and I got very repetitive. If it hadn’t been for friends and people I do business with in Panama City Area. I don’t know how this would’ve ever been accomplished some of us did not live in the digital world I know the company save a lot more money by not having to have a representative placed a phase but it sure not reflected in the closing cost. Mike was a very pleasant person to talk to. But the companies lack of understanding about some of us not living in the digital world and having the resources did not seem to sink in. I have lived through a natural disaster where tens of thousands of people are still without an infrastructure of communication. Has the world come to do business without exceptions. I don’t know the digital world personally. And take it from me and natural disaster can stop everything. The banks were never even open for the first three weeks after the hurricane. When in Christ name is going to happen if something major happens nationwide. I’ll survive because I don’t need the Internet that will these companies.

First time buying a home and Veterans United made it a breeze. Even being a few states away was no issue. The weekly updates on the process helped us to plan out the move and reduced any stress from uncertainty.

I am so glad that I chose Veterans United for my home loan. It was a smooth transition in getting the loan. It took hardly no time in obtaining the Pre-Approved loan. They were there for me from beginning. If you considering buying a home, it would be worth it to use Veterans United Home Loans. My Team was just great!
