Very experienced personel, will answer all your questions.
Veterans United was great. When I asked questions my team was there to explain. From start to finish it took about 3 months. I was able to get a house within my budget and the process took about 30 days once I found a house. I think if there are any Veterans out there renting, they are crazy and really need to understand that this company is here to walk you though and help anyway they can!! Thank you for all the help!!
This was a very frustrating process. The loan specialist had underlings who were evidently fairly new or uninterested in providing exactly what was needed for documentation. Each time I was asked for something I had to provide it in several different formats. Also I would receive bits and pieces of what was needed. My loan specialist (Ben) was very helpful towards the estimated time of close but it would have been nice to have his help all along. My close date was postponed by a week. In the meantime I had to stay in a hotel and rent the moving van for that week. This along with buying takeout cost me an extra $200.00 a day.
Response from Veterans United
Thank you for sharing your frustrations Keith. Getting approved for a VA home loan does require some specific information be provided, and new information can also lead to more documents being needed. We apologize if you felt your loan team was not on top of your home purchase. We will use your comments to review the steps that led to your delayed closing so we can prevent the same situation from happening to future Veterans.
Veterans United is amazing. They were recommended to us by my brother. We worked with Mrs. Hart's team. They made our home buying process quick and painless. Every person that works their is polite, personable and highly professional.Any and all questions I had were answered quickly and to my satisfaction. They did an amazing job through out the whole process. The recommendations they gave us helped immensely and saved us money on 3 occasions.I can't recommend Mrs. Hart, Toni, Melissa, and Emily and all the VU staff enough. We were very impressed and highly Satisfied. They are good people.
This was our first home buying experience and I will never ever work with VU again. Our closing date was the 6th, they called us to let us know the day before driving out of Colorado that our closing date was pushed back two days, well by the time we closed it was a week after our closing date. We got stuck paying 650$ to stay in a hotel then we had to keep our uhaul 5 extra days which cost us an extra 500$. Throughout this process, trying to contact our loan team was impossible. They would not return calls or rarely returned emails. This company cost us so much money because of their neglect. I would not recommend VU to anyone.

Veterans United has the best people in the industry. They operate with amazing technology, the team has great communication and I feel this has been aj amazing experience since day 1. Thank you for everythong you’ve done!
VU provided outstanding support and customer service throughout the entire loan application process. My questions were quickly answered and the on-line application made the application very easy.
The VU team was very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. We always knew what we needed to do. Even if your credit score is not exactly what is required yet, if you do everything they tell you it’s only a matter of time before you will be in your new home.
Veterans United has helped my family so much in purchasing a home we are very grateful.

Veterans United was awesome, great experience with the loan process. The recommended real estate agent was horrible.
Working with VU made our first home purchase as smooth as possible. We will definitely recommend them to others.
Veterans United helped me close within 35 days after signing a contract. The process was easy and communication was perfect. I never had to provide anything twice. My loan loan officer Jessica Messing and loan coordinator Megan Chavez were awesome. You can’t go wrong with choosing Veterans United.
Veterans United made buying a house smooth with no surprises. Our loan specialist, Alberto, kept us informed and explained everything extremely well. There was never any confusion over any and all paperwork needed or sent to review. I would refer Veterans United to anyone exploring using A VA loan to buy a home.
