I (an Air Force veteran) decided to use Veterans United because I was so impressed with the smooth process of the purchase of my home in 2018. The experience I had was even better than my experience in 2018 and I didn’t even think it was possible. First of all the platform online on a computer or mobile device is excellent and so user-friendly. However, the main thing with Veterans United is there impeccable service with every staff member. They are with you every step of the way helping you out in anyway they can additionally the realtor (Jasmine) that Veterans United connected me with with Oregon first reality was stellar. With the combination of Jeff as the lead for Veterans, United and Cristina working along side of us and Jasmine working on the local level it was a smooth and seamless process. Absolutely, without a doubt I would recommend this agency to our Veterans.

This is a hard review to write. I would like to start by saying Chris Campbell is amazing. He worked so hard for us and fixed every problem we faced. This review does NOT reflect Chris as an individual at all.
We felt as if the ball was dropped several times in our case. Many mistakes were made that could have cost us our new house. We had to resubmit the same documents over and over. Important things (ie: appraisal) weren’t submitted on time, which almost pushed back closing (which wasn’t allowed per our contract with our builders), and the money was wired to the incorrect place during closing. We sat at closing for three hours just waiting for the money to arrive in the correct place. These are just the large mistakes we encountered.
We felt as if Nick Gemming was inconsiderate and disrespectful in some situations. In the nicest way possible, it was hard to work with him towards the end.
Chris Campbell, however, worked so hard to fix mistakes that he didn’t cause. He updated us frequently and worked tirelessly to make sure we closed on our dream home. I can’t thank him enough and am so glad we had him on our team. He needs a raise!
Overall, we are in our house. That’s what matters.

Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!!
